Speaking of nurturing, our mothers have done things like making sure we slept and got enough rest, provided a homely environment, offered scrumptious dinners, have read a book to us, and most importantly, have played an essential role in disciplining us.
For the teaching part, we cannot over-emphasize the role of our mothers as the foundation of molding our moral behavior, the same moral behavior that we will most likely channel to our children.
Well, mothers have taken a lot in the form of our crying and the way we ran to them to be consoled, not forgetting how they went ahead to clean our dirty and smelly clothes after we decided to take a dip in the dirt, for the fun of it.
Overall, mothers stood it all, and what better way to remember the much that they did for us by honoring them during mother’s day?
